An acquired (not congenital or degenerative) injury to the brain caused by an external force. These injuries will negatively affect multiple learning capabilities, such as cognition, language, memory, attention, reasoning, abstract thinking, judgement, problem solving, and or motor skills, and psychosocial behaviors such as physical functions, information processing, and speech. The severity of learning difficulties will vary between students.
