- - - - Often times, those students will be required for extra help sessions in the learning center, but nothing else is done.
        
        If those accommodations aren't helping, inquire with the learning center about having the student tested. Ultimately the learning center, in consultation with and consent of the parents, decides if testing is warranted.
        
        Regardless if testing is conducted, require that the student come to my office hours for extra one-on-one support when needed and appropriate.
