In the organization,National Express Delivery, there are different departments that help the company function as a whole, and the marketing department is of particular importance and essential in ensuring the buildup and development of the company as a whole. A training program integrating social media tools will be presented.
Basing the presentation on the proposal by the manager to integrate social media into a training plan that aims at encouraging people into viewing training in a positive manner. The proposal arises from a complaint by the boss’s granddaughter about the training not being cool and efficient for the younger generation. This training presentation covers the essential changes needed to ensure that these learning and training techniques attain integration with social and e-learning tools in the organization.
In this organization, several theories can attain implementation when considering the use of social media tools in the training process; behavioral learning theory, cognitive learning theory, and the constructivist learning theory. text*
The behavioral learning theory:Changes in behaviors, or new behaviors acquired through the association between response and stimuli.Rewarding the trainees when the acquire a new skill relevant to the purpose of the training program.
In the cognitive learning theory includes learning that occurs through internal processing of data and information. The learning theory supports social media in the organization in that people acquire the information they need and at any time.
The constructivism theory : The method constructs an individual’s knowledge of the world regarding on their personal experiences. It supports social media in the organization in that people share their personal experiences which in return leave people aware and gives them a certain knowledge.
Ethical consideration needs to be used in integrating social media into the organization.
Supervising the use of social media and keeping a record of all business communications made in social media network like facebook, Twitter, Instagram among others help to reduce the risk posed by using these online medias.
How will social media be used? Sites that will be approved? Contents that will be prohibited?
