Plants have various parts that serve different functions, and although all plants share a basic structure, they vary in size, shape, and colour (Bergstrom, 2026). These parts include roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and seeds.
Inquiry-based Activity: Learners will be presented with different-looking plants, and they will identify the names of the parts of a plant as well as their functions. For example, the root of a plant is found in the soil, and its function is to absorb water and stabilise the plant.
