Provides students with homogenous skeleton for the science core classes while allowing teachers to adapt the curriculum to meet class needs
Makes the district less reliant on outside resources, possibly reducing costs while increasing efficacy
Cost
First 1-2 years: 0.5 FTE focused on Biology, Chemistry, and Physics ("science core")
If proof of concept needed: willing to work pro bono during my paternity leave, or do the work next year on top of 1 FTE as a teacher
If determined successful, beyond year 2: 1 FTE focused on science core classes with supplemental aid to elective and CTE courses
