How do people use the process of making sugar and the process of making bricks to make the products we need ?
How do we get SUGAR from sugar cane? 1) sugar can is found on open land
- we cut the sticks growing from the ground
- We take them to a big factory
- they make juice out of it and we heat the juice in a BIG pot and the water goes away into the air and all that left is yummy syrup.
- what is left? and what will they do to all the syrup left in order to make sugar?
How do we get BRICKS from clay:
2) The farmers dig the clay they then clean it by removing all the stones and sharp objects from it then they shape it while it is still moist and squishy then its made into a rectangle shape and it is dried in the sun, but what comes next is very strange , they bake the clay in a fire and why do you think they bake it?

-What do we see in these pictures? Have you seen this before? is this from nature? what is the house built from? what makes bricks strong? What makes these taste sweet? Is bread raw or processed material?

Process means turning useful stuff into stuff we need, so that means with sugar we cannot eat a hard sugar cane so we squeeze it for juice then cook the juice then it becomes sugar and we use sugar to make bread, juice and sweets so we can have energy to go and play. For clay we cannot build with soft mud, so we shape it like playdough then bake it in hot fire and it becomes a hard brick we use bricks to build houses and schools and malls.
