Listen for distractors
Speakers will often mention all the options (A, B, and C) in the conversation. Do not pick the first matching word you hear; listen to the full context to see which option is actually negated, corrected, or confirmed.
-
Mark tentative answers
Make a light pencil mark or click the option you think is right, but keep listening until the speaker moves past that point, in case they change or refine their statement.
