        clay to brick
        
        Inquiry activity: The learners will be given a piece of paper and draw to things that are built from brick and name each caption ?(DBE,p.42) questions why is bricks a different color?
        
        The skills the learner will develop knowledge ,observing, Predicting
        
        value the will respect the earth and use the recourse in a responsible manner
- - - - class activity; Find the sugar cane on map of KwaZulu-Natal
        
        Inquiry based learning
        
        process : the teacher will display a map of KwaZulu Natal and then show them a picture of sugar cane are growing areas such Northern KwaZulu arears such Richard's bay and Empangeni where significant sugar cane farming is .Central KZN the midlands region ,Southern KZN is (studca.2026). the learners will mark these areas on the map using green stickers .display the process sugar cane then harvesting -sugar factory last but least sugar .
        The learners will arranges picture cards in the correct order to show how sugar is made .

  - - - Class activity : how are bricks made out of clay
        
        the teacher will show the learners a simple of clay from the earth .
        -A picture of clay being shape into a bricks using a mounds . Do we all get the same size and shape of brick ?The teacher will explain that the shaped brick are dried and fired in a kiln ( picture of a Kiln)to make them hard
        -in a group their will have to make arranges in the correct order

- - - - Inquiry activity: the learners investing products and then decide ..Does this product come from a plant or not

        they will process the raw material to the finished product
