Class Activity (Making): Learners will be challenged to build a small "house" for a toy using recycled materials (e.g., cardboard boxes as the bricks and glue as "cement"). They are expected to follow the design process: investigate the materials, design or draw a plan, make or build the house, evaluate if it stands up without falling, and using communication to express their final product (Naude & Meier, 2025:128).
