Collagen Fibers are tiny, strong threads inside your bones

Spongy (cancellous) bone: porous, lighter, found inside bones, containing bone marrow

Osteocytes: Mature bone cells that maintain the bone matrix, by communicating with other cells

Osteoclasts: cells that break down bone tissue through a process called bone reabsorption which is essential for repair and remodelling

Organic part: mainly collagen Fibers, providing flexibility and strength

Calcium phosphate is a hard mineral that makes bones solid and stiff
Without these minerals bones would be too soft
