Society
Social Health and Wellbeing initiative
limited free fitness classes for people who can't afford a gym membership
Would require PTs/gym staff to volunteer their time to host these classes
classes for specific groups (elderly people, mothers, beginners ect)
Would allow people of all kinds to priorities their physical health at a level they can cope with
Could motivate people to start working on their health privately
A free helpline for people struggling with poor mental health
Would be for emergency situations only, when people need immediate support
Would need a significant amount of volunteers
All of the people answering calls would need specific training to ensure they know the best way to respond to any situation
It wouldn't be likely that people could stay anonymous due to safeguarding issues
Advice for people struggling with difficult situations
A radio station could start a segment on their radio show where you can phone in anonymously to discuss a situation you are dealing with and the hosts and potentially a professional could give some free advice to guide the caller through the issue
This would be interesting for a radio show to do as people enjoy listening and relating to other peoples situations, this would help both the caller and any listeners going through similar things, while also bringing in listeners to the show
Online resources for dealing with emotionally difficult situations, through emails or an online website
This would allow people to vent about their issues and for other people to give advice on the situations
It would be a free resource which would rely on the users to support each other
Would need to have strict guidelines on what can and cannot be said/posted to ensure the site maintains a supportive and positive environment
Help support the homeless
create an organisation which helps homeless people find temporary work, this will then help them to find more permanent housing.
Work with realtors and housing agencies to find homes for groups of homeless people to rent together whilst earning through the temporary work. This gives them not only a place to stay but an address which is necessary when looking for full time work, or any bank resources
Environment
Create an organisation which goes to primary and
high schools to discuss how to help the environment
Food Festival Initiative
Invite local food businesses to sell their food to local people
Only allow locally grown/raised food
No A.I. posters or false advertising
Prevents businesses using A.I. in the local area
Ensures there are no moral controversies surrounding the event
Less A.I. usage means less damage to the environment
The event will not give any money to the billionaires who profit off of A.I. usage
Makes businesses more trustworthy
Cat Initiative
Prevent cats and kittens from being left as strays
This protects birds and small animals which are preyed on by cats
This increases biodiversity and prevents extinction of small animals
Require cat owners to have a suitable indoor space for their cats and kittens
Prevents cats from looking for new homes and ending up as strays
Make it a legal requirement for cat owners to spay
their kittens before allowing them to free roam outside
Prevents unwanted kittens
Any cats who are not spayed would need to be supervised when outside
Ensure all cat shelters spay the cats
economy
'Economical' lessons in high school for young teens to learn how to manage their finances
Would give kids all the information they need to make smart financial decisions when they start working
Prevents people from making poor financial decisions
Will make the next generation of homeowners more informed and financially able
Would result in less gambling
Will make students more likely to attend classes as they will be learning skills they know they will need no matter their career path
Will ensure the nest generation have a good understanding of the economy
Will set them up to become business owners, improving the economy
Tourism Initiative
Increase funding for local business that bring in tourists
Ensure tourist attractiins are maintained and kept up-to-date
Will prevent tourists getting bored of the old attractions, keeping them interesting
Will promote more people to start businesses locally
Culture
Music Initiative
Have free events for local bands/singers to showcase their music
Gives small bands a chance to perform and grow a fanbase
Makes live music more accessible to people
Create an organisation which starts/coaches choirs in care homes for the elderly
prevents/supports dementia in old age
Creative hobby to encourage interaction and community within the homes
Fashion initiative
Start a youth club/group for young children interested in fashion
Could use old/donated clothes which would have been disposed of otherwise to create new pieces of clothing
prevents waste and encourages recycling
Gives young people a creative outlet
Could be useful for children whose family cannot afford new clothes
