Process of making bricks - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Class activity: Discover table with the various materials.
  - - - Class activity: We will mix together some clay, sand and water and allow to harden to observe what happens to the materials.
  - - - Class activity: Discover table where learners can feel and manipulate the materials.
- - - - Allow learners to explore the classroom walls where bricks were used, then discussing what other buildings they have seen bricks used in.
  - - - Classroom activity: Learners pass around the different materials and discuss in groups where they think the materials come from.
- - - - Classroom activity: Observe various machinery and discuss how they work. Allow learners to dig with spoons, mix the materials together and mould them into their own bricks. Then allow bricks to dry and discuss how they could dry better in firing. Lastly they will evaluate their bricks and discuss with the class how they made it.
