Are Nuclear Weapons a good thing?
they create a powerful threat that stops major wars between large countries
While it can stop threats from countries overall it is dangerous. We have enough nukes to destroy the world 100 times.
Enemies fear total destruction, so they avoid starting a major war.
I do not think fear is always a positive. People act without reason from fear which can lead to more international fall out.
Nuclear weapons have been globally banned which is a positive thing. This prevents future acts of war in the world and leads to safety
Signatories cannot develop, test, produce, acquire, possess, stockpile, use, or threaten to use nuclear weapons, nor allow them to be stationed on their national territory.
They can keep powerful rival nations from fighting directly.Both sides choose peace because a direct war would destroy everyone involved
While this is good for balance their is different solutions. I think power balance can be maintained through treaties not war.
Is it ever acceptable to break the law?
Many laws exist to prevent injuries, violence, fraud, and dangerous behavior. Traffic laws, for example, create predictable expectations for drivers; widespread disregard for them would make crashes, injuries, and deaths more likely
I believe laws are made for a reason and that they were made by people looking out for the betterment of the untied states and world therefor they should be obeyed no matter the circumstance.
Civil disobedience can make an injustice visible when normal political methods have failed or moved too slowly. A peaceful protest that intentionally violates an unfair rule, while openly accepting legal consequences, can force the public and government to debate whether that law deserves to remain in place.
Without protest there willl never be change. I think that prosting, even if you have to break the law can be effective.
Sometimes obeying a rule could lead to a much worse outcome. For example, entering private property to rescue someone in immediate danger may be ethically easier to defend than standing by because of a trespassing law. This argument is based on the idea that protecting life and safety can outweigh compliance with a rule in an emergency.
I think if you break the law to save a life or prevent a disaster then that is okay. There are dangerous situations where breaking the law could be the best option
A law can be legal but still immoral—for example, laws that deny people equal rights or treat groups unfairly.
This is a great point especially in history. we have seen women's right movements and civil rights movements that break laws.
What is more important, privacy or public safety?

ights mean less in practice if people are too afraid to go to school, work, worship, travel, or gather in public. Protecting people from crime and violence is a core public responsibility, and effective public-safety systems can help ensure that everyone—not only the wealthy or powerful—can live securely
What is better: eclectic or gas cars?
Fewer moving parts: Electric motors do not have hundreds of parts like a gas engine.No oil changes: You never need to change the oil, spark plugs, or timing belts.
If everyone switches to electric we can save the world and simplify parts. We do not need to do so much mechanical work as we have before.
Zero tailpipe emissions: Electric cars do not release dirty exhaust or gas fumes into the air.Better health: Cleaner air helps reduce pollution in your neighborhood
Electric cars are much better for the environment as they do not burn CO2. With electric cars not only are they more efficient but more environmentally friendly.
Cheaper charging: Electricity costs less money per mile than gasoline.Home charging: You can plug your car in at home while you sleep and wake up with a full battery.
More cost effective in a world where it is hard to save money in a declining economy. This can make a more cost effective way to travel.
nstant power: Electric motors give you fast speed the second you push the gas pedal.Quiet ride: The motor makes almost no noise, so the car feels very calm and smooth on the road.
Instant power makes for a more safe and sound veichle. This allows for better breaks acceleration and safety where you do not get that in a gas car.
