Separate glass bottles and jars
Rinse them
Remove lids
Put them in glass recycling bins
Electronic waste
Collect old phones, computers, and batteries
Do not put them in normal bins
Take them to e-waste collection centers
Reuse or repair when possible
Metal
Collect cans and metal containers
Rinse them
Separate from other waste
Send to metal recycling
Organic waste
Separate food scraps and garden waste
Compost them
Use compost as natural fertilizer
