Slate grey to bronze skin
Caused by iron deposition in dialysis pts with multiple blood transfusions

Deposition of calcium phosphate in pts with renal failure
Scratch marks
Uraemic pruritis in pts with renal failure
Often associated with hyperphosphatemia
Band keratopathy
Calcium deposition under corneal epithelium parallel to interpalpebral fissure
Caused by secondary / tertiary hyperPTH or excessive Ca2+ replacement

Easy bruising
Nitrogen retention causes reduced prothrombin consumption
Defect in Factor 3, abnormal platelet aggregation
Renal osteodystrophy
Alteration of bone in pt with chronic kidney disease
Abnormal movements (caused by NM irritability or hypocalcemia)
