Stress: scientists cannot agree on one definition, but a working definition is the psychological and physical reaction to certain stressors in your life which causes strain (physical and psychological consequences)
Types of stress
Eutress is good stress that is converted to motivating positive energy that result in the highest level of performance rather than no arousal, where the optimal level of arousal is different for each person
Distress is bad stress when there is too much stress and there is not much to do to counteract it in terms of time, resources, and control
Predisposition to stress: when people naturally differ on how much they stress and/or how they handle stress

For situational factors, what's the difference between being scared of punishment and therefore acting a certain way and Operant Conditioning? And being tired of acting a certain way, and Arousal?
