Advantages
Social media allows people to always stay connected
- Families or friends who live far away from each other (eg.different countries) can always stay connected through apps such as WhatsApp or Facebook no matter the distance
- This strengthen their bond instead of breaking it
- it provides instant update through voice memos, messages, photos or video calls
- People are still able to encourage, support one another through the screen
Social media allows people to share their experiences and ideas
- Social media in a nutshell is basically just a huge worldwide network system and this allows people to share their lives to a huge audience
- People can post about their day wether it be celebrating a festival or just a normal school day
- They can also choose to promote something they believe in such as cultural heritage or protests
- When expressing thoughts and ideas they can get feedback or constructive criticism from hundreds of people
Disadvantages
Social media can spread false information
- the algorithm of social media chooses content that has a lot of engagement thus news usually gets seen everywhere but sometimes it can be untrue
- Naive people such as the elderlies may not understand how social media work and may believe it which creates a sense of fear or anxiety (Eg. Fake news about a new disease)
- usually fake news takes some time to be taken down or get spoken about so during that time period people might have already started panicking and frantically sharing to friends or family
Social media can make people feel insecure and envious
- when there is social media there are also influencers, and most of them require to show themselves at their best, always ready for the camera
- They also get public relation packages (PR) from brands and sponsorships and certain content can make their audience feel jealous and self conscious about their looks
- However influencers online can also receive hate comments which can lower their self esteem and question their sense of purpose, and maybe choosing to quit due to intense cyberbullying and scrunity

(4) School Uniforms
Advantages
Reduces visible difference in students clothing and wealth
- Students are less likely to feel pressured to buy new clothes every year to keep up with micro trends or a certain image
- Reduces the chance of students getting bullied on the way they dress and makes every students feel equal to one another
Strengthen sense of belonging
- Students wearing their school uniform can make them feel apart of the community
- It creates a sense of nostalgia in the future
Disadvantages
Limits students ability to express themselves
- Students cannot choose their own clothes to reflect their personality
- Especially during first day of school its important for students to show their personality and character so they are able to make friends and connect to people of similar interests
- introverted students may find expressing through style is easier then striking up a conversation
Schools uniform can be inconvenient
- students may need to carry/change into different set of clothing such as PE attire
- A fixed uniform may not be comfortable or suitable for different weather conditions
(5) Homework

Disadvantages
Excessive homework can overwhelm students
- Having several assignments due at the same time can create unnecessary pressure
- Most students have other commitments and using the whole day just to finish their assignments make them feel anxious
Too much homework leaves less time for hobbies
- Students sacrifice their leisure time meant to do relax and do something they enjoy and instead use it to do their homework
- students might cancel outings with families and friends or give up their sports/interest
