What is Dance?
Dance is an embodied form of creative and artistic expression through which people use their bodies to communicate ideas, emotions, experiences, identities and stories.
Dance is an independent art form that children can express their ideas, emotions, identities through dancing.

Dance is also a non-verbal and kinaesthetic language through which children can explore, interpret and communicate ideas about themselves and the world around them.
Dance experience can also provide meaningful context such as a seed growing can use movements like curl, slowly stretch then sway.

As dancers, children use their body to explore different ways of moving and communicating.
