Arts as an important context for
children's holistic learning. Educators use artistic experiences to support children’s cognitive, physical, social, emotional, linguistic and cultural development.
What is Art?
“the conscious use of skill and creative imagination, especially in the production of aesthetic objects” (Merriam-Webster).
Arts education to be a ‘universal human
right’ for all children (UNESCO, 2006).
A universial language through which humans communicate
