Self-Defense - (a) Non-deadly force = you can defend yourself with non-deadly force if you reasonably believes (i) the other is intentionally inflicting, (ii) there is proportionate force used, (iii) there is no way to prevent the other's use of force --- (b) Deadly Force = (i) intentional infliction, (ii) threat of death, serious injury, or rape, (iii) you can prevent death only by use of deadly force
