a lot of YW think they know what we are talking about - but actually there is a lot of misconceptions & not a lot of knowledge ( just saying "this is a safe space for everyone" doesnt mean its safe)
for YW: the need to deal with diverse groups of young people & how to deal with different needs & controversies
in a political climate where democracy is contested this can offer a space to still train democratic values; the tougher political conditions get, the more safer spaces are needed (spaces of resistance)
