        Presentation:
        Abdominal Pain - crampy LLQ or splenic flexure
        Very likely to have bleeding
        Pain then bleeding within 24 hours
        Diarrhoea as well
        RF - very important here!:
        Hypotension
        Sepsis
        Shock - think sx
        
        Mesenteric Ischaemia
        Presentation:
        Pain out of proportion to clinical signs
        RFs:
        Afib
        APS
        
        Gastroenteritis (bacteria)
        
        Presentation:
        Usually fever (not guaranteed)!
        Abdominal pain
        Diarrhoea
        Nausea
        RF:
        Comb for diet hx, usually should present within 1 week of relevant hx, except for salmonella
        Immunocompromise - look for medical history, surgical history
        Abx Use - think C.Diff
      - Painless:
        Usually structural compromise
        
        Diverticulosis
        
        Presentation
        Massive Painless blood loss (THIS ONE CAN BE BRIGHT RED)
        RFs:
        Use of NSAIDs
        CVRFs
        Low Fibre Diet
        Cx:
        Anaemia - impt everywhere, but very impt here, might be the first sign
        
        Merckel's Diverticulum
        
        Kids<5, painless dark bleed just send it
        
        Angiodysplasia
        
        Presentation
        Can be chronic also
        Painless passage of blood, smaller amounts than diverticulosis
        RFs:
        AS, CHF, COPD - anything that starves it of oxygen prompts vessel formation
  - - - Think IBD when accompanied by chronic diarrhoea
        may or may not have pain, pain more a/w Crohn's
        Presentation:
        Bloody diarrhoea
        Sometimes pain, look for RIF for crohn's
        Ask Extraintestinal - Red eye, joint pain, skin changes, gall stones
        Cx:
        Toxic Megacolon - fever, hypotension, diarrhoea, bloating
        Fistula - Faecal soiling
    - - Classic LoA, LoW
        Alternating Bowel Habits
        Pencil thin stools
