Step 2- produce antibodies. Step 3- antibodies mark the virus.

Functions include distributing heat, transport hormones and nutrients, maintaining blood volume and pressure
Platelets

Platelets stick to blood vessels walls. It releases chemicals which interact with protein called clotting factors in the blood
it produces mesh fibrin which traps platelets and erythrocytes forming a clot which becomes a scab. Prevents blood loss and healing takes place under the scab.
