People altering how they look through veneers, augmentations, surgery, botox, hair transplant or using GLP-1s means that we may not be seeing the 'real' or 'true' person. And often such changes are done under a guise or a facade, a pretence that nothing has been 'done' or changed.
Think Maybelline - 'maybe she's born with it' - maybe she's not? Do we need to pretend she has?
The whole point is to look different, but to pretend you don't look different. The whole thing is inherently false or dishonest?
(I am not bashing looking different, it just depends on if you place value on how 'true' to how you used to look.)
Is there a value to people doing what they want and being honest about it?
