Timeframe
Week 1: Read and unpack the assessment brief. Begin research into personal branding and graphic design practice
Week 2: Research examples of brand identity systems, business cards and resumes and current and emerging graphic design trends
Week 3: Complete the analysis of two graphic design trends and undertake a personal skills analysis. Start brainstorming ideas for my personal brand and logo
Week 4: Produce a minimum of 20 logo concepts. Seek feedback and begin selecting the strongest concepts
Week 5: Begin the social media section, including the brand positioning map, SWOT analysis of at least three platforms, selection of two platforms, target audience research and competitor analysis
Week 6: Continue social media research, including engagement methods, canned responses, user attention span, relevant legislation and policies. Select strongest logo concept based on feedback and begin developing the final digital logo
Week 7: Finalise logo and design business card. Research commercial printers, suitable stock options and obtain a printing quote
Week 8: Produce print-ready business card and develop the personal resume. Complete social media marketing strategy and activity schedule. Document feedback and refinements
Week 9: Finalise social media profiles. Complete the EVD and submission checklist, prepare all final files and submit the EVD
