Rules
If a pitcher throws 4 "balls" in a row, the opposing batter will be awarded with a "walk"

if a pitcher throws 3 strikes, the batter gets striked out and the next batter comes out to bat
if a flyball is caught, the current runner when the fly ball is hit will be outed.

Baseball started in the 1800s as a spin-off of older English games like rounders and cricket. A man named Alexander Cartwright wrote down the first official rules in 1845, and teams played the first real game the next year.
The sport became a business when the first professional team started in 1869, which led to the creation of the Major Leagues and the first World Series in 1903. For a long time, Black athletes were not allowed to play in the Major Leagues until Jackie Robinson famously broke this unfair rule in 1947.
