it's in WA - Leigh's there, i have a place to live, Leigh's friends are there, and it's likely to be FiFo so i could probably come home for a weekend a month very easily once im working (but could be trickier if i was working and doing uni over there)
environmental science but not in a way that's gonna turn being in nature into work, like it might for park ranging

great money, i would be fully and immediately financially independent, which opens up a lot of doors for having a future family

i think it's respectable work, i'd respect myself for doing it, i think it is an Australian job because i think that matters to me too

lots of maths and science obv, which would be a steep learning curve

it's a very different kind of work and thinking and i would have to be ok with being no good for a little while
it's another fresh start, another bit of debt, and a really dramatic change - bigggg out of the comfort zone in many many ways
