Force yourself to use it for the day.
You are banned from looking for a better one until the primary work is submitted.
Create a "Side-Quest" Parking Lot:

"I should write a script to automate this file permission change"

do not open the terminal.
Write it down on a designated notepad or a text file called ParkingLot.txt.
Promise your brain: "I will do this, but only during the last 30 minutes of my workday."

Why is it important?
ADHD brains love to spend 5 hours automating a task that takes 10 seconds to do manually.
How to fix it?
Before you write a script, ask yourself out loud:
"Will this script save me more than 5 hours of manual work this month?"
If the answer is no, do it manually for today.
Isolate Your Task Environment:
close non related tabs before you sit down to do your main project. Out of sight, out of mind.
