La hepcidina es la principal hormona reguladora del metabolismo del hierro, controlando su absorción y liberación desde los depósitos.

Trastorno hematológico caracterizado por una disminución de la concentración de hemoglobina debido a una deficiencia de hierro que limita la producción normal de eritrocitos.
