Fair tests
A fair test is a controlled scientific experiment where you change only one variable at a time while keeping all other conditions exactly the same.

Graphs (line/bar)
Line Graphs
When to use: Both the independent variable (x-axis) and dependent variable (y-axis) are continuous numbers like time or teparature or growth
Connect individual data points with a straight line or draw a single line of best fit showing an overall trend. Do not randomly "connect the dots" if it masks a clear trend line
Bar Graphs
When to use: The independent variable on the x-axis is categorical, discrete, or non-numerical (e.g., plant species, blood groups, or different chemical treatments).
How to plot: Draw separate, equal-width bars where the individual bars do not touch each other, representing distinct groups
