- - - - What authority means: It is the ability to overseer and control someone's actions by anyway impacting him meaningfully
        
        Example: If I'm a higher power in the government I have the authority to control the actions of every loyal soldier under my command
        
        What authority doesn't maen: having an extent of strength that is not enough to make somebody your puppet but can still influence somebody
        
        God Says: "Indeed, there is for him [Satan] no authority over those who have believed and rely upon their Lord" :red_cross: (meaning that the following examples weren't the authority meant by God)
        
        As God said on the tongue of Joshua Ibn Nun "Did you [Moses] see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. and none made me forget it except Satan - that i should mention it...." (Satan had enough power to make the prophet Joshua forget something important, but not enough to be counted as an authority over Joshua)
        
        Forgetfulness
        
        "So Moses Struck him [the man] and killed him. [Moses] said, "This is from the work of Satan. Indeed, he is a manifest, misleading enemy" (Satan had a hand in the unintentional killing of the egyptian man by the prophet Moses)

        (God allowed this to happen to Job from Satan as a trial)
        
        External Harm & Spiritual Trials
        
        "that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was affected by magic, so much that he used to think that he had done something which in fact, he did not do, and he invoked his Lord (for a remedy). Then (one day) he said, "O Aisha!) Do you know that Allah has advised me as to the problem I consulted Him about?"Aisha said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What's that?" He said..... [The solution God revealed to him]"
        
        "Moses responded, “No, you go first.” And suddenly their ropes and staffs appeared to him [Moses] by their magic to be slithering."
        
        Illusion
        
        Example: If I'm a beggar and I somehow find my way to the King of the land and I slap his face, this is just an opposing move from me in which I expressed an extent of harm on the King, but it is not an authority over the King since he will just demolish me from the face of the earth afterwards
        
        "His [Satan] authority is only over those who take him as an ally...." :check:
        
        "indeed they [the disbelievers] had taken the devils as allies instead of Allah and they thought that they were guided"
        
        "[Satan said] I had no authority over you [disbelievers] except that I invited you, and you responded to me" (The only authority he had over them is the authority of invitation and response, making the disbelievers his puppets willfully after they disbelieved)

        "Do you ˹O Prophet˺ not see that We have sent the devils against the disbelievers, constantly inciting them?"
        
        Intense Inciting
        
        and [we] have placed a barrier before them [the disbelievers who rejected the truth] and a barrier behind them and covered them ˹all˺ up, so they fail to see ˹the truth˺" (making the way of the Devil the only way they see and uphold to)
        
        Perception concealed
        
        Absolute Allegiance with Satan as their Lord
