Learner
When working, observing, and practicing with others, educators are bound to improve their practice. Educators improve their overall practice through experiences that can influence their technology practice.
Will immerse themselves in learning networks and sets goals that supports learning practicies and explores innovation.
Citizen
Educators will positively influence students to participate in our new found digital world. Educators promote positive experiences and practice appropriate use of the digital world.
Educators work to build safe and educational platforms online. Educators seek credible sources for their classroom and students. Educators will instruct students on how to protect and manage personal data.
Collaborator
Educators dedicate more time into collaboration with their peers and students. This collaboration will benefit an educators practice, use of discovery, sharing ideas, and how an educator problem solves.
Educators will work with students to co-learn about various digital resources and more. Will use their own learning experiences from students and peers.
Facilitator
With the use of technology, educators assist learning that supports their students achievements for the ISTE Standards.
Educators participate in a culture where students have ownership of their goals. Educators will manage their learners use of technology within the classroom. There are challenging learning opportunities for students with the use of technology.
Leader
Opportunities are often found and supported by educators that help support leadership, ultimately to support student empowerment and success. This improves the quality of learning by students and teaching by educators.
Educators will work with educational stakeholders to promote empowered learning and shared visions. Educators will promote access to technology to guarantee the needs of all students.
Designer
An educator will provide a multitude of authentic and student driven opportunities that support the use of technology for learners accommodation and variability.
Educators will use technology that supports the differences and needs of their learners. Will use evidence based instructional design that will support the learners.
Analyst
Educators use and comprehend data that will help support student achievement, student goals, and benefit their instruction.
Educators practice the use of alternative assessments for learners. Educators will design and cultivate ways to assess students with technology.
