GLOBALIZATION AND MONDIALIZATION - Coggle Diagram
GLOBALIZATION AND MONDIALIZATION
GLOBALIZATION
refers to global, economic network
it began in the end of the '80s
we're living the globalized world as it's something which implies all patches of the patchwork
it began because before the apolitical and asocial problem there was an economic one
a globalized chain of the production began to imply different parts of the world
the first global dimension was an economic global damage because everything about mondialization began with an economic state
some decades ago, some economic activities found out that if I ask some other places to create a part of my product and put it together, this costs less
our globalize network was creating by an economic interest and it was less expensive to create a part of the production chain somewhere else (i.e. Eastern Europe, Southern America, Asia)
the first network was created in an
economic perspective
MONDIALIZATION
urban planners
work in the center of our lives as there's no single function in territory because it's strictly connected to a set of functions
social dimension of the world of our everyday life
all our social dimensions are polytopic ones
geographical steak
, a place of the world becomes the sense of our social contemporary way of life > spatial tern, a cultural tern in which the spatial dimension of everyday life matters as it's something influent
shift from globalization to mondialization > social steak which is no more just economical
connection between the patches is
virtual
> all the urban nodes are the point connections of the mobilities (station, airports, ports), the more they are connected, the more they're important in a global space
every single place in the world has its
own identity
shift from a social stake to a political stake > political problems as the economic network creates economic connection between countries in the world
switch to an aerial dimension of territory to a social one >
we are close because we are connected, even we aren't contiguous
trans-scale dimension
of our life starts from
economic dimension
social dimension
political dimension
MOVEMENT AND CHANGES
globalization and mondialization as we have physical movement > all mobilities create globalize world, from all the territorial points of view
global thrusts have an intensification of exchanges/flows thanks to
movement
(goods, information, people)
globalize world > element influenced by some others
different types of movement
migration
> changes a lot and becomes something integrated
tourism
> changes a lot the socio-territorial systems
commuting
> changes a lot the socio-territorial systems
kinds of mobilities that change as the movement has changed and was intensified > closer as soon as the time is passing
