Class Action Standing: Class representative must have standing to bring the case initially, and standing survives even if the representative's injury is redressed.

Third-Party Standing

A close relationship between the parties such that there are assurances that the third party will adequately advocate for the injured party.
Taxpayer Standing
Challenge to collection of specific tax assessment as unconstitutional because being forced to pay such a tax causes a real and immediate economic injury to the individual taxpayer; or

Mootness
Controversy must still be live upon filing, such that court can remedy
Voluntary Cessation: Does not make case moot, UNLESS defendant can show challenged activity is no reasonably likely to recur or change in circumstances attributable to third parties not before court
