managing risks
prevention - put systems in place to stop the risk from happening (e.g. clear policies, assessor training, use of plagiarism detection).
reducing severity- if the risk does occur, reduce the impact (e.g. second marking, contingency planning, safeguarding procedures).
review- apply the new risk rating after actions have been taken and check if the risk has been reduced to an acceptable level.
