Interests
I like boats because leaning the presses of how they are made is very interesting .
I like space because of how vast and unknown it is , and how we can't fully understand it as a whole.
I find space saving items extremely fascinating because it shows how much time someone has spent reducing the material usage to create something compatible and with multiple uses.
I enjoy hiking because i find walking fun and relaxing.
I am fascinated by inhospitable environments such as Antarctica because it is so vast and yet so unfriendly causing meany problems .
I am existed by exploration because it involves learning about something new and unknown.
I am interested in archaeology and how we can learn about the people who came before us and how they lived and solved past problems .
Isolated environments are fascinating to me because although they are so isolated form everything they show us the progressions of environments.
I am interested in how the natural world surrounding us is effected by changes weather.
Annoyances
Damage to archaeological specimens during transport which leads to the loss of history before it is able to be fully studied.
Weather such as rain/ sand impacting dig sites which can lead to the destruction or damage of specimens before further study.
Lack of access to power which can result in life threatening dangers when people are located in isolated areas as they cannot call for help when needed.
Litter in environment which can pollute and damage nature.
Lack of adjustability in items which means that they are not customisable to the users needs .
Fash floods can damage peoples belongings and homes causing loss of precious things .
Lack of compatibility in items which are brought on long journeys this can lead to less items brought altogether however useful .
Storge of equipment as it can get lost / misplaced and this slows down and complicates going on travels.
some outdoor spaces although appealing cause damage to the environment that they are surrounded by .
First thoughts
A storage system for peoples equipment and belongings to they can easily access them when they need to . for e.g a wall hanger on rails which can be rotated to show the equipment necessary for different journeys.
Transportation cases for fragile objects such as archaeological specimens which need to be kept stable and protected.
Help people protect themselves and their belongings from harsh weather conditions such as rain by creating an anchored cone coat which deflects the rain and keeps them dry without restricting ground mobility .
An observation room so people can observe the environment around them for e.g bird watching/marine life watching
Protection for endangered habitats by developing a barrier/ dome which blocks further destruction of habitat.
The rucksac people use whilst trekking and how they resist problems such as space saving / equipment organisation.
Helping people with water collection whilst they are in isolated environments by creating a rain catcher which works whilst people hike .
Opportunities
Storage containers for specimens transport so they don't get damaged, these could be adjusted in size so they don't leave too big or small of a gap without using much filler therefore reducing the waste. After transported these could also be compacted to reduce storage space . furthermore these boxes could be air tight so if the transportation sinks then the artifacts don't get destroyed this could also mean that they could be filled with gases which help they stay in good condition for a longer period of time.
Compact equipment such as ladders, tents, sleeping bags , fully waterproof coat, bags ,pickaxes , spyglass , brush set ,paint set , easel , touch , shoes, glasses, magnifying glass, trowels.
Water barricades which can help stop the flow of water so areas that need to stay dry can stop water from flowing in e.g if in a dig site and need to stop water from filling p the dig then barricades could be used to help keep it dry so there is no interference in the site.
An emergency floating waterproof cover for belongings could be used for people who want to save there belongings if there is a flood , rainstorm or , if on a boat this could help people for if there belongings fall overboard / if they capsize.
Lightweight fully waterproof cover in a cone shape which can we worn to let people move without getting wet and have full mobility of legs and flaps in sides for arm movement.
A storage system for peoples equipment and belongings to they can easily access them when they need to . for e.g a wall hanger on rails which can be rotated to show the equipment necessary for different journeys.
An outdoor space for observing a natural habitat without disturbing it during production this could be achieved by building from gowning the habitat for e.g a bamboo observation deck ( with supports for safety) but overall a natural material which wouldn't interfere with the habitat below.
