Outdoor Sports
I am interested in playing sports such as Rugby, Netball and running.
there is lots of equipment involved in rugby. Such as: rugby balls, tackle pads and bags, water bottles, rugby boots and mouthguards.
Hiking and walking
-
walking up hills and through forest requires lots of equipment, food and maps which need to be taken in order to stay safe.
there is often lots of rubbish which has been dumped in the wildlife. this can destroy nature and habitats.
Annoyances
when going on walks backpacks can very quickly become large, heavy and bulky which is not ideal for long walks as it could cause pain and fatigue which could lead to not enjoying the walk.
personal rugby equipment such as boots and mouthguards can easily become damaged and lost because it is constantly being moved around and travelling long distances to go to matches, tournaments and training sessions. this is a problem as without items such as boots and mouthguards you cannot play rugby and participate.
cases for mouthguards are flimsy and can break easily which means mouthguards can fall into dirt and become really dirty. Also, because mouthguards are small they easily become lost and a new one needs to be purchased.
rugby pitches become flooded with small amounts of rain which mean that training sessions and matches get cancelled and they don't always get rescheduled. this is a problem because teams need to train in order to get better.
when going in walks or outside enjoying nature it is nor uncommon to find litter and rubbish scattered throughout nature. this is a problem because rubbish can ruin landscapes and destroy habitats and kill animals.
Sports equipment is large and bulky and is hard to store. often sports equipment is chucked into a small storage cupboard or container. this can lead to equipment getting lost and damaged.

Opportunities
i could solve the problem of backpack becoming bulky with a storage solution for pieces of equipment which are strange shapes and hard to carry.
i could solve the problem of rubbish outdoors by using a storage problem that could store the rubbish effectively without any rubbish falling into the wildlife. Also, i could use an architectural solution by somewhere where it is easy and accessible to recycle and throw away rubbish to prevent it getting into the environment.
i could solve the problem of losing things when camping with a storage solution that keeps camping supplies, especially smaller ones, together in order to prevent them from getting lost and damaged.
i could solve the problem of forgetting rugby boots for training and matches with an architectural or storage solution which stores the entire teams boots together so that no one can forget their boots.
