Dear sir/ madam, i am writing to you to convey my perspective on the unfortunately harming impact of education on young people; its not just our physical health it decays, its the wellbeing of the mind which also grows deprived of sleep, energy and positivity.
Misunderstandings continuously occur (such as lateness, forgetting equipment, poor responses) due to the lack of sleep we get. We are not robots. We dont run based on orders and meet each requirement perfectly. We are human. However there is one similarity: we need to charge. Charge is sleep and this is something that 83% of stundens from the ages ten to seventeen admit to lacking according to a survey across many schools in England. It may seem a quick fix, but have you taken into account the social lives teenagers are restricted to, the lack of time spent with families, even skipping meals which damages their mental capacity even further.

Headteachers, teachers, staff of any kind: all powerless. There blindness attempt of following instructions from the hierarchy dehumanises their freedom, limits their say, holds them captive forcing students to negatively assosiate them with a prison guard. Do you feel that they should at least be able to run their schools and timings based on their students, not the stereotypical ‘perfect child’. No one is perfect but school treats them as if they should be.
