Class Activity: At home the learners will observe (Naude and Meier, 2025, p.90) what the moon looks like and take notes of their findings, such as the different shapes, patterns and colours that they can see. The next day the learners will arrive to class with their findings and draw a picture of the moon using the different shapes and patterns. This links with inquiry based learning as the learners are drawing their observations in detail (Naude and Meier, 2025, p.101).
