Goals of the lesson
Students will collaboratively write a sentence connected to a previously read big book
Students will practice phonemic awareness, phonics, sight word recognition, and sentence structure
Students will strengthen reading and writing connections through interactive writing
Students will learn how to stretch words and hear sounds in words.
