Concept 1:Telescopes help people see closely the sky, moon and stars.
Class Activity : The learners lay on the gras to look at the sky and build they own telescopes using recycled materials such as, wrapping paper tubes and two convex lenses and other items.
Sub-topic 2: Light Source and Objects
Concept 1: Light give hope, Safety and direction for people when it is dark.
Class Activity: Leaners compare different sources of light, including flashlights, lamps, lightbulbs, candles, and a glitter ball.

Sub-Topic 1- People and the Night Sky
Class Activity: Children listen to the story about "Nurse Nancy", Randall and Ross,(2001, p. 32) that works in the day and sleep at night.
