The southerns were upset over the novel because Stowe wouldn't be able to understand how southerners live and need slavery to exist.
As a result of the popularity of Stowe's novel, it angered the South a lot and they said that they wouldn't understand the Southern way of life for being a Northener
The fugitive slave act was an action by Congress forcing all people to help assist in the capture of slaves even northerners, and if they didn't they could receive 6 months in jail and up to a $1,000 dollar fine

The Federal government was known to replace the weak Article of confederation with a stronger, unified and balanced system capable of managing the new nation.
The 10th Amendment was known to support the idea of State's Right's by explicitly reserving all powers to not delegated to the federal government
The Fugitive Slave Act upset the Northern Abolitionists of how the way they treated citizens by forcing them to participate in slavery, accused individuals of legal rights and removed due processes

Abolitionists were an extension of the church since they argue persuasively against slavery so Abolitionists needed to find ways of using the bible and Christian Tradition, along with the Americans and domestic ideals to figure their case.

Southern States despised tariffs than the Northern States because they believe it disadvantaged their economy

Industry v.s Agriculture
The between of industrial agriculture and climate change are twofold.
Industrially produced food systems are energy intensive and fossil fuel based, and thus contribute significantly of climate change.
The Northern workforce was the Industry resided farms and worked over half of northern wage earnings on the land which were the majority of the Americans farming
The Southern workforce was the primary agricultural and heavily reliant over millions of enslaved Black people, who were the ones to raise crops and build fortifications

During the Election of 1860, the people who could vote was Abraham Lincoln, John C Breckinridge, John Bell and Stephen A Douglas from the Election

Sectionalism is loyalty to one's own region or section of the country, rather than to the country as a whole.
The North and South followed in different paths, and developed into two distinct, very different parts of the US, where the North have a cold climate with rocky soil and limiting larger scales, While for the South is a warmer sunny climate with rich soil and longer growing seasons
New states caused regional division due to because New states means new senators, new representatives and new power in the balance between free and slave states
