Technical Drawing
Purpose: Designing projects, communicating ideas, and advertising work.
Definition: Uses universal rules and norms for clear understanding.
Drawing Materials: Pencils
Types of pencils:
Hard (H): For technical drawing (thin, clean lines).
HB / F: Middle scale for general use.
Soft (B): For artistic drawing (thick lines).
Project Use: 2H for projection lines; HB for edges.
Composition: Mixture of clay and graphite.
Drawing Materials: Paper
Paper Weight: Thickness measured in (g/m^2).
Finish: For projects, we use white, smooth, and matte paper.
DIN Standard: European rules for sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3, A4).
Drawing Tools
Compass:
Parts: Two arms (metal point and lead holder).
Uses: Drawing arcs/circles and transporting segments.
Templates:
Special templates: For ellipses, hyperbolas, and parabolas.
Used for shapes (circles, squares), letters, and symbols.
