      - Uniform: An evenly spaced-out dispersion resulting from direct interactions of individuals in an environment. Territoriality is characteristic of this type of dispersion. Ex, King penguins have uniform positions to protect their territory
      - Random: Unpredictabl
      - Random: unpredictable spacing where the spacing of each individual is independent of another. Ex: Dandelions go wherever the wind blows their seeds
    - - Life Table: summarizes the survival/reproductive rates of individuals in a specific age group of a pop. by followiing a cohort ( group of individuals of same age from birth to death
      - Survivorship Curve: A plotted proportion or number of a cohort still alive at each age.
      - Survivorship Curves:
        
        Type I: low death rates during early/middle life then drops steeply around older age. Ex humans & elephants
        
        Type III: high DR for young but flattens out as individuals survive early period of die of. Ex. Marine offspring
        
        Type II: Intermediate, constant DR over organism's lifespan. Ex. rodents
