Mr. Game is running an e-Sports tournament for this game.
- The game should feel competitive.
- The game should enable players to compete (e.g Tournament style, fastest time, highest score)
Individuality
- The game has to be unique
- This is a big ask with the amount of different games out there so the game needs to at least do something different that makes it feel unique and different to play.
- This could be brought into my game through game mechanics and art style (e.g. a tick bar that shows events occurring in the future, or movement that feels different)
- To give the game true individuality I need to incorporate multiple of these things to finally make something worthy of being described as unique
Difficulty/Gameplay
Mr. Game specifically asks for a game that "only a true gamer could win."
The way I interpret this is a game that is challenging. Whether it be through core mechanics of the game or that it brings you into complex situations that require the thought processes of a 'true gamer'.
Genre
Mr. Game feels inspired by games that incorporate aspects of multiple genres to create a more interesting game.
For my game I want to combine Rythm games with turn-based games with a frame-by-frame approach (e.g. YOMI Hustle), as well as parts of dungeon crawlers like boss fights and loot collection.

Tile-based
At the very least I want to be able to do turn-based battles and a boss-fight - maybe it would be simpler to have different characters with fixed stats and abilities

Lore/game background
A world tainted by the titan's of the past. Ruins containing dark secrets of the past but also filled with treasures that will aid the rogues in their conquest to take the throne of a fallen world.
