        Learn to evaluate information critically.
        
        Realize that their voices and ideas can be heard.
        
        Develop their own opinions and judgement.
        
        Acquire knowledge.
        
        Stay aware of the things that happen worlwide.

        From that day on, teens could now share their ideas not only privately and localy, but also, publically and to a much larger audience.
        
        They could do this with just a few clicks on their phones.
        
        And the best part, their ideas were shared to others in just a matter of secon
    - - ARPNET, the prosecusor of the internet is created. People with access to it can communicate through simple messages.
    - - MySpace is launched to the public and it becomes the biggest social media site at the time.
    - - Today, more than 100 social media platforms exist, and they are a fundamental part of the lives of almost every teen in the world.
