Role of Insects in pollination:
Facilitating the reproduction of nearly 90% of flowering plants by transferring pollen between flowers. Mainly bees, butterflies, beetles and moths act as the vital pollinators.
Role of insects in the Food chain:
Insects are important to the food chain. They are the primary consumers (What we call herbivores). They decompose, and prey for higher trophic levels to transfer plants to animals.
