In this lesson, learners will observe actual insects in the schoolyard garden or using visual specimens. They will inspect the insects body parts ( head, thorax, six legs, wings etc) and will produce a labelled scientific drawings and record key observations about size, colour, shape and movement. This activity enhances scientific process skills such as classifying, comparing, observing and communication through labelled drawing.
