This allows one to have a much more complex and interesting life that can result in greater fulfillment. With this being said, it takes intentional effort to craft and maintain such a network

        Examples include R, S, K, B, J, M, A, K, etc
        
        Think Family, Close Friends, or others with strong histories
      - Weak Ties
        
        Acquaintances or relationships by circumstance
        
        Examples include G, C, C, B, J, etc
        
        Think Classmates, Professors, Friends of friends, etc
      - Having different networks of ties creates imporant diversity of one's network
    - - Focus on authentic, trust-based relationships that are mutually beneficial and rooted in shared interest, not a transaction. This creates a more efficient and sustainable network.

    - - Benefits of designing one's own academic path -> Creates more oppounrites for self-discovery and promotes non-traditional pathways with less competition

        Take a new path to class, try a new restaurant, talk in the elevator, etc
