Attachment Through the life course :silhouettes:
Reflection
1. After thinking about three attachment styles, I found myself a mix of all of them, mostly dominated by secure. Learning my own attachment styles will definitely help me to recognize myself from different perspectives in daily life, such as choosing a romantic relationship or even a work environment that fits me the most.
2. The most interesting part of the lecture was that early childhood attachment is probabilistically related to adult attachment, suggesting that it is possible to secure relationships in adulthood. I was dating a girl who was anxious in the past, so I regret that I should have acted differently, not just denied or ignored her behaviors.
3. Understanding attachment styles gave me new insights into many situations, especially in romantic relationships. From the lecture, I realized that I am looking for a secure person, and maybe that is because I am attracted to the person who has a similar style.
